Home Mortgages and eBay Buying Options
When eBay opened up its mega-traffic to the world of real estate sales, it brought a great opportunity to buyers and sellers alike. The real estate market was hot when this began, and now that it has cooled during the past year or more, eBay's role becomes even more pronounced.

Despite the many benefits of home purchase opportunities through eBay, almost all buyers still need a mortgage loan to seal the deal. What a market that is in itself! Prospective buyers need to learn about the each available type of mortgage loan, tools of the trade, such as a mortgage interest rates calculator, learning how to calculate house payments, and locate the right lending institution to help meet their needs. Purchasing any of the thousands of homes available through eBay requires a sober, well-thought-out decision. But part of those considerations include some of the astounding deals online every day.
If you are considering a move from one home to another, do yourself a favor and commit a couple of weeks to eBay research to find a property and deal that meets your financial needs.

Website Marketing Strategy
It's always a pleasure to see a clever website marketing strategy. Who knows when we can adopt it for ourselves? And here's a case in point ... a recipe. But a brilliantly done recipe.

Note that creating this recipe calls for several ingredients sold by the site. And with the click of a single button, every food ingredient stocked by the site can be ordered. This is SO much smarter than forcing the customer to locate each ingredient separately.
Plus, we might be inclined to order only one or two, instead of the whole she-bang.
Well done, Swanson!

Problem Solving Exercises = Problem Solving Steps
Problem solving exercises are valuable and useful for every human being. For all of us who have problems, that is. :-)
The method below is one that I've successfully used for many years and it never fails us, one way or another ...

1) What do I want?
2) Make the best plan you can for where you are now ...
3) Take action on your plan ...
4) Evaluate the results of your action ...
Repeat steps 3 & 4 until you get what you want or change your mind and decide you prefer something different.
The marble plaque above is a quote from Winston Churchill, spoken during the really dark days of World War II. Does it mean that once I've decided on a course of action I should stick with it, no matter what?
No, of course not. But what it does mean is that as long as a goal is important to you, never give up on reaching it. The means don't really matter, as long as they're not illegal or immoral.

Problem Solving Methods ... Problem Solving Defined
Oddly enough, problem solving methods should always begin with an appreciation of the value of problems.
Yeah, yeah, I know that's an unorthodox idea. But is it just possible that are problems are, or at least, can be ... valuable? Gasp! What heresy, right?
Consider this report from Bob Cooley. He was walking with his girlfriend when both of them were hit by a car that was decelerating from 70 MPH. The girl was killed and he was thrown a long way through the air and landed on the concrete. He spent the next two decades in often-agonizing pain. This is what he writes ...
"Who would imagine that your particular problems could be the very guides to your success? That your problems literally light the way, like lampposts along a walkway, and that without this light you wouldn't be able to find your unique way. All the people I've met who are unbelievably successful also used their unique personal problems to develop themselves more fully, to repair and reinvent themselves, to become much more accomplished, vibrant and alive."
It would be pushing it, I'm sure, to say that Bob was 'grateful' for what happened to him. Yet he used this awful situation to develop himself in ways that have made him a world-famous teacher and author who has helped huge numbers of people. Talk about making lemonade from lemons! Way to go, Bob.
Problem solving defined: a problem lead Bob in a direction he almost surely would never have anticipated.

Antique Kodak Cameras & A Platinum Antique Engagement Ring
eBay began with antiques & collectibles as their primary sales. So in wondering if there is still any such market on eBay, I went meandering down the highways and buyways of eBay, so discover treasures like antique Kodak cameras and a stunning platinum antique engagement ring. So I'm happy to announce that, yes, antique sales are still quite an exciting eBay line.

* It's important to focus on trends and brands that are well known and in high demand for their quality or beauty. While an antique Kodak camera might be valuable, an antique Sydney Johnston camera certainly isn't. 'Hot" trends and antiques certainly are not a good mix.
* Unless your have contacts in the business, it might take a considerable amount of time to find profitable items. In 20 hours of searching for the perfect antique, you might have posted 250 more common items. Perhaps the antique will bring in more money than the 250, but there's a strong possibility that it won't.
* eBay is superb for quick cash flow. Except for the antiques & collectibles market. If you need money for a crisis six days from now, most likely selling an antique won't bring cash racing in the door. While your antique butter churn might be exactly what one home is craving, it might take some time for the eager buyer to find you. Of course, you might list your treasure and it 10 minutes have an astoundingly profitable payment into your PayPal account ... but don't count on it.
* Obviously, high-priced items aren't free to acquire. In the Ancient Days (early days of eBay), when most folks didn't know about eBay, In those Ancient Days, it was relatively easy to make big scores because people didn't understand the value of what they had. But unless they just moved here from another planet, they've heard of eBay. Still, lots of folks have zero interest in selling on eBay and there are bargains to be had.
* The biggest disadvantage for most of us - especially me - is a lack of information. I wouldn't know a valuable antique table or antique wedding dress if I fell over them. However, if you're one of those folks that DOES know, display every ounce of that knowledge when listing on eBay. It will impress potential buyers and increase your sales price.
