Selling Guitars On eBay
In a recent class, I asked my bright and wonderful students to send in auctions they thought were particularly good or particularly dreadful. I was surprised to receive one that is a 'good' deal (according to my student) for a $100,000 guitar! I had no idea there was so much money in musical instruments. Of course, if Elvis or Buddy Holly used it, then it's a different story, but this guitar has no particular claim to fame.
I'm always looking for new niches so perhaps guitars might be an interesting one. But where to start? Well, first I need to know something about guitars and considering I know nothing at all, I looked around the net to learn something new.
My starting place is here:
where I found an article titled "Types of Guitars: An Introduction". Perfect for a guitar newbie like me. I learned about:
Acoustic Guitars
1) Classical
2) Steel-top
3) 12-String guitar
4) Resonator
5) Archtop
6) Acoustic Bass
Electric Guitars
I also learned about such terms as whammy bars and electronic pick-ups.
Will I actually make a site on guitars? I don't know yet, but it's a start.

I think your golfing-for-health blog would be a great link connecting with my retirement communities built around golf courses. Please let me know if you are interested.
