eBay Selling Power: Secrets Of An Auction Rebel
Next Monday, November 6, we are introducing a new CD called "Secrets Of An Auction Rebel". Why this name? It's because I AM an auction rebel. See, eBay runs their site solely for the benefit of eBay. Nothing at all wrong with that - it's exactly what we would do in their place.
BUT - eBay's best interests, and your best interests (and mine), aren't necessarily the same. In fact, often they aren't the same.
So I choose to act in a way that is best for my business - and you should, too. I am sometimes asked why I'm not an eBay Certified Provider (ECP). I could be. It wouldn't be hard. But I choose not to do so. Why? Because there are all kinds of eBay rules and restrictions that apply if you are an ECP. And I don't want to follow those extra rules.

Obviously, the best place to start is by doing your market research, in advance, so that you don't find yourself in this situation. Camtasia allows you to make a video of your computer screen while you talk, thus also including audio (it's what we used to record all these classes).
So what? Well, videos are POWERFUL on the internet. They allow you to "rise above the noise" of words and emails and allow you to be more personal with your visitors or subscribers!
John Reese, Frank Kern, and many other marketers have personally accredited this tool to making them THOUSANDS of dollars. They tell you, "If you don't have it, go buy it NOW."
What's the problem?
Well, it's a bit pricey at $299. There are lots of people buying it at that price.
But you don't need to pay $299.
You see, an earlier version of Camtasia was released under General Public License which means you can download it for FREE.
Why doesn't everybody download the freebie instead of paying $299 for Camtasia?
That's because there are two MAJOR FLAWS with the older program...
1. Output Flash videos DON'T WORK in Firefox or Netscape. This is a HUGE problem for internet marketers, who don't want to frustrate users or prevent users from watching their "videoized" sales letters! Considering just Firefox
has had over 200 million downloads, you don't want this happening to your viewers!
2. There's no "redirect to URL after playing' option for your output Flash videos. John Reese says he was the first internet marketer to use this awesome feature in (the $299) Camtasia. This feature will redirect the viewer of the video to the URL of your choice when the movie ends. So you can make a video demonstrating a product or service and redirect your viewer immediately to the URL to buy! (This greatly increases conversion rates). But the old software doesn't have this option.
We've fixed these two problems.
We paid a programmer to edit the code under GPL license so that these two problems are FIXED. Output videos can now be viewed in Firefox AND can be redirected to a custom URL upon the end of the clip!
For those of you who don't want to pay for Camtasia, a must-have tool in any marketer's toolset, now you have the opportunity, without the $299 sticker shock.
