eBay Selling Niches: Paintball
When selling on eBay, it's always important to focus on a niche and a very popular niche on and off eBay is paintball. Paintball seems to be that kind of specialized niche that Net marketers crave. While not as popular as golf, for instance, it's a niche that's deep, rather than broad. That is, the lovers of this game are quite passionate about it and willing to spend buckets of money.
I admit, though, that I don't exactly understand how it's played. So I went hunting for directions and found a site that explains the rules:

Apparently, the players are divided into teams and it's all about capturing the opponent's flag. One question I have, though: do the guns shoot paint that doesn't fade? Meaning, do your paintball clothes quickly look like you just painted a 10 bedroom mansion? On eBay, they sell 'paintball clothing', like camoflage jackets, so it would seem that clothes aren't ruined. Actually, it sounds like a lot of fun and I wish I knew some other people that would be interested in a game.
One great thing, though - I don't have to be a paintball expert to set up a niche business around this lucrative subject. That's the beauty of the Net - we can have profitable auctions, stores and websites without years of first hand experience. How absolutely cool.
