Baseball Card Values Just Got A Little Easier

If you selli baseball cards on eBay or elsewhere your baseball card values are of prime importance if you want maximum profits (and who doesn't?) Some of these cards sell for astronomical sums of money:

Years ago I discovered that selling these cards isn't as simple as it seems, though. My daughter's boy friend asked me to sell some of his cards on eBay. Checking around, I found a card that sold for about $2500 - and he had an identical card in his collection. Voila! Excitement on all fronts.

The problem, though, was that I didn't realize that baseball cards must be 'graded' for maximum value. I took some of the cards to a sports shop and was informed that the standard for baseball card prices is the PSA, Professional Sports Authenticator. The card owner didn't want to pay for PSA appraisals because he didn't want to risk money on cards that might be useless, or of low value.

However, a new online site, Card Pricer, (http://www.cardpricer.com) is attempting to remove at least some of the uncertainty of baseball card prices. Their site states, "CardPricer.com is the web's most comprehensive online baseball card price guide. Our software allows you to research cards, view cards, and organize cards in a way not previously possible."

The resources that are available to sellers today make online business ever easier. Three cheers for the Internet!
