A new site that appraises the value of old posters has just opened its doors. It's run by an appraiser for the Antiques Roadshow, so if you come across any old goodies in Aunt Matilda's attic, here is the place to go. Currently appraisals are free, although we certainly can't expect them to remain that way.

According to their press release, "The prices of vintage film, travel and war posters has been escalating at a rapid rate over the past year, with several examples of large format advertising and propaganda ephemera selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars while a wide variety of posters are routinely selling in the ten to fifty thousand dollar range."
