Avoid eBay Scams Via Email

If you've ever been a victim of eBay scams via email, also known as "spoofs", then you might be interested in eBay's free tutorial.

Personally, I object to the word "spoof". The dictionary defines spoof as:

* Nonsense; tomfoolery.
* A gentle satirical imitation; a light parody.

I don't think there's anything nonsensical about email designed to steal your money!

To eBay's credit, they've provided a free tutorial/self quiz to hopefully save unsuspecting Netizens from these scavengers. Now if only people will read it!
