An eBay Auction Business: Multiple Profits In One Niche

It's always wise to choose products that you can “multiply”. By this, I mean there are more products that will appeal to your same buyers, rather than focusing on only one item and thereby limiting yourself.

Of course, you have to grab their interest first. I once read a book about bonsai and learned that tiny birds were supposed to be able to fly in among the minuscule branches. That image has always stuck with me.

And naturally, pictures are critical. For instance, take a look at this breathtaking miniature tree:

Any bonsai lover who isn't awed by that definitely is NOT your customer!

So what else could you sell bonsai fanatics?

Educate buyers on both indoor bonsai plants and outdoor ones.

What about bonsai tree seeds in addition to full blown plants. They're definitely cheaper to buy and easier to ship.

And of course all those babies need a bonsai plant stand, whether indoors or out.

By thinking of alternative products you enable yourself to make more money with the same – or even less – work. I'll drink to that! :-)
